Heading out to Dayton

July 30, 2006

We are on our way to the Dayton Air Show.  It’s going to be hot! I’m looking forward to what I can capture with my new digital camcorder too.  Anyway, here’s some local coverage with good tips on dealing with the heat.  There’s some good pictures already posted there also. When you get done today, please share your experience by dropping a link to your blog in the comments, or leave a comment.  Pictures and video will be posted tomorrow.  Have fun!

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
