Burning man

September 1, 2006

Burning Man TV (thanks Scoble).  Incredible, informative, and amazing.  People will do some incredible things.  Check out the 8/30 video, toward the end, there is a segment on one vehicle there called the Bi-polar Express.  You gotta chuckle.  I’m not sure I could let people tag my car…but “to each their own!”

OK, and on 8/31 – “Barbie Death Camp.” This looks like one wild party.  Wow!

When I was in Vancouver, my uncle told me I should go one year.  He said the experience was really amazing.  My uncle is an artist, and this is HIS scene.  I’m not sure it is mine.  Who knows?  Maybe I should go one year with Deb and see how it goes. Hmm?

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
