Does Indy need rapid transit?

March 15, 2007

Here’s your opportunity to let your thoughts be known:  take the survey.

Here’s what Bill Benner had to say about it.

Personally, I’m for it.  I used mass transit when I lived in St. Louis.  It made my life easier and it actually saved me money when I counted up the cost of gas and parking.  I wasn’t able to place a cost on the aggrevation factor – you all know that piece well.  The rude drivers that cut you off.  You being unattentive and causing your own problems because you are still focused on something at work.  Things like that.

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
