Wildfire might make Reno

June 9, 2007

Of course, to do so, the plane has to be at Reno for PRS later this month.  Read their newsletter for some great news, and then see what the folks have to say on AAFO.  Wildfire is a very unique airplane.  Most planes (if not all) in the Unlimited Class are restored WWII fighters.  Wildfire was built just for racing.  The whole story is on their website.

That’s a very neat looking plane, despite being an original modern design it is somewhat reminiscent of of the Gee Bee and the Hughes H-1.

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
