From today’s blogroll

Just a few things from today's blog roll.

This is a great idea.  Dell holds the junkware.  Basically, when you buy a Dell you can now bypass all the crap that normally comes pre-installed on most PCs.  What a time saver! (Which why we bought the PC right?  To save time?)

Here’s a great read on restrictive policies and the possible solution.

Do you still use the Yellow Pages.  If you do it all online, like I do, here's a post that will save a tree or two.  Stop them from being delivered.

Maybe it’s just me…but if you don’t want the phone books, why not just call the phone company and ask that they don’t deliver them to you?

I’m assuming there is no way to get removed via the web and this solution is for those not willing to go through VRU’s to get removed.

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on:
