State tournament

All in all, not too bad.  Saturday was the team event.  The team did well, I did so-so. Sunday was singles and doubles.  Singles were sad.  I only had a 520 series, but I switched bowling balls at the end of the 2nd game and saw improvement right away. So, for the doubles I ended with a 659 series.  My doubles partner had a decent series also.  We are waiting for the results to post, but we think we may cash out for the team and doubles events.  Once the results are posted, we'll share it here in the blog.

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
