NBA and blogging

So, the NBA tagged Mark Cuban again for inflammatory remarks against NBA officiating.  This time, the selection of officials for the playoffs.  Mark’s blog entry is here. Some bloggers have picked up on this already. Debbie Weil picked up the story and wrote about it, and then Mark has this post.  It will be interesting to see how the media deals with this one.  The interesting issue here has a lot of impact though.  It’s not just an NBA vs. owner issue.  The issue is, how much can a blogger share when there are rules about his/her disclosure in their place of employment?  I think we’ll all be watching this one.

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on:
