RIAA is at it again

Newsome has a great post about the RIAA cease and desist orders they’ve filed against kids posting their amateur videos on YouTube. Wil Wheaton posted also.  How long can we suffer this?  It’s funny how RIAA continues to pick on kids, too.  Aren’t the kids the largest demographic spending their money on the product RIAA claims to be protecting?  Some folks had some good comments on Wil’s blog (especially this one).  God forbid kids have any fun with the music they listen to.  And since it is against the law, they can’t dance, mime or exercise any creativity…which is what the music is supposed to inspire isn’t it?

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
