An Enjoyable Day

I hope everyone found a way to enjoy their 4th of July.  We kept our day pretty simple, but had a great day.  The girls did a little shopping, and then indulged me with a trip to the Indiana State Museum, where we took in the IMAX film, Fighter Pilot.  Obviously, I enjoyed the film immensely.  It was great watching the action with the fighters and the huge screen at IMAX.  What a rush!

And for a shout out to some great musicians – while we were waiting on the movie, we saw a local jazz band made up of freshman from an area high school, the Jazz Katz.  They were very talented and we enjoyed the entertainment.

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
