Air Racer Relentess won’t be in Reno this year

I stumbled across this article from April, where Kevin Eldredge, the pilot of Relentless, recounts a harrowing experience during an emergency landing that damaged the plane significantly. Kevin says here, on his website, that
Reno isn’t feasible this year.  Bummer!

He has some great pictures of the aircraft on the site (pre-crash).

Here on some of my pictures from Sep 05 Reno Air Races, and you’ll see some pictures of Relentless there too.  These are the better of the pictures.  If anyone wants to see all 300+, let me know in the comments and I’ll get them posted.

Somewhat related:  If you like the new F-22, here’s a video that another blogger found of it going vertical after takeoff.  I can’t wait to see the F-22 in an air show.

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
