Tragic accident takes the life of two officers

Watching this on the news last night left me wondering about the families of these two officers.  I can only imagine that tiny bit of fear that lurks in the back of each family as they send their police officer husbands, wives, moms and dads to work each day.  So, when they are out bicycling, you wouldn’t expect this to happen.  These guys were circling the state on a two week ride to promote their support for the families who had suffered the loss of a family member in the line of duty.  The police community in
Indiana has been dealt a major blow by this one.  I feel for them.  My deepest sympathies to all impacted by this accident.

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
