Sheryl Crow concert

Megan and I enjoyed the Sheryl Crow concert Friday night.  The opening act was a guy named Mat Kearney.  It was a good concert and we enjoyed ourselves.  Oh, did I fail to mention it was a double-header?  Yeah, John Mayer was there too, and he sang a number of his hits also.  That dude can play a guitar.  My favorite part of the show was when Sheryl did a break-out during one of her songs with a harmonica.  I don’t remember which song it was, I just remember thinking, “I didn’t know she played harmonica!”  I guess it isn’t a difficult instrument to play, and given her background, it was probably a piece of cake.  We had a great time!

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
