Mike Brown turned in a 478 mph ride in September Fury to gain the pole at
Reno (for now?).  Pictures and other updates are in this article from the AAFO website.

Based on the posts, last years champion Rare Bare, is having some trouble.  It will be interesting to see if they can iron out the problems.

Merlin’s Magic had an engine let loose.  According to this post, they’ll put the back up engine in and run the Bronze class.  Bummer!

Some pictures by Shawn.  I really like the picture of Precious Metal from the front.  The counter rotating props are PERTY!

Scroll down on this post and notice “Ole Yeller” is belching fire!

Precious Metal shots.

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on:
