Starting from scratch at 44

How bitter might one be after spending 21 years in prison for something they did not do.  How does one start over at 44?  Does this guy go to college now?  Can he get hired anywhere with no experience and make a decent wage?  Would your company hire him and give him a chance? I’d be so mixed up – happy I’m out of prison obviously, but feeling cheated out of a lot of opportunities in life.  If this guy started a blog, would you read it? I think I would.  I would be interested to know how he adjusts, how people receive him, how he “finds himself” so to speak.

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
