Have any of you seen this headline in USA Today (Technology troubles set off tantrums, tears and tirades)?  The articles focuses on tech products and how people expect them to work right out of the box (and why shouldn’t they, right?).  However, I’ve argued in the past that customer service is a dying art in all industries.  VRUs, self checkouts, do it yourself everything surrounds us – all in the name of saving a few dollars for a shareholder.  Wait!  Isn’t that the same shareholder that is complaining about my customer service?  [via]
