I really like how convenient my daughter’s school has made some things.  What I’m enjoying the most right now is the daily announcements via podcast.  The principal calls a number and records the daily announcements.  There not fun, per se – but they are informative and there are times I can walk in the door from work (or currently, I’m working from home, so I ask her when she gets home) and ask my daughter, “how did such and such go at school today?”  Today, I was reminded of concert dates and PTO meetings.  It is convenient.  I think it is good for busy parents.  I like that.

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on:
