Making it easier

I’ll say this to my shame.  It’s hard to give sometimes.  You really have to make an effort to do it.  Sure, it’s easy to drop a few dollars in the red bucket on the way out the store.  What I’m talking about is really giving – of your time, or your finances.  However, Seth Godin blogged about a company that send a check to you encouraging you to endorse it and forward it on to a charity of your choice.  Furthermore, they are learning that some are adding their own donation before forwarding on the check.  I like it!

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
