Speed and Angels

I found out about a new DVD coming out soon about becoming a naval aviator.  It is called Speed and Angels.  The film follows two newbies through their training to become F-14 pilots.  This will be nostalgic since the F-14 was retired from active service last year (previous posts).  According to Meagan’s myspace profile, the film is targeted for a winter 2007 release.

Check out the site for the movie.  There are movie clips already posted, including some great shots of training flights.  There are a lot of photos, and links to each pilots MySpace profile.  It’s a fun site to get lost in for a while.  [via]

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
