Thunderbirds Trailer_PBS

The aviation community is very well connected.  Somebody knows someone else who is in the know about something!  For example, there will be a new documentary about the Thunderbirds coming out later this year.  Here is the YouTube trailer for the show.  Below is the description from the YouTube post (did you know another female pilot is joining the ranks of the Thunderbirds?  I didn’t):

Trailer for documentary on our USAF Thunderbirds titled “America’s Team” for 2007 broadcasts by 350 public television affiliate stations nationwide and DVD. Produced by Campbell Media Group and Thunderbirds50.com, it includes interviews of Thunderbirds pilots, including Major Nicole Malachowski, the Thunderbirds’ first-ever woman pilot, and other Thunderbirds (AirForce.com). Major Samantha Weeks joins the Thunderbirds during 2007 as Opposing Solo pilot.

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
