Turbine Toucan

I’d like to see this biplane at an airshow sometime soon.  Since most have already booked their performers for this year, it will probably be next year when we see this on the circuit.  This one looks like a good one.  Oh – let’s not forget – it’s the pilot that makes the high performance airplane look good.  The website says Dave Morss will be doing the flying.  Here’s a little snippet from their write-up on Dave:

Dave started Myriad Research in 1985 with the specific goal of performing flight tests on the next generation of airplanes. He works with extensively with Lancair, Thunder Mustang and the new Epic airplanes as well as a host of kit planes and warbirds. Dave competes at the National Championship Air Races held in Reno, NV and holds the record for most races in the history of Reno. For fun and relaxation, Dave races a Formula V car in SCCA events at Laguna Seca and Infinity Raceway.

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
