Rethinking the Dayton Air Show

Last year I really railed on Dayton after the airshow they put on.  I’m rethinking visiting their show this year.  It seems they are putting the effort into making the 60th Anniversary of the Air Force a big deal (which they should) and are lining up a lot of good acts and displays.  I’d still like to read something that assures the public that the warbirds will be more accessible this year.  Last year the P-38 was way down a restricted flight line and the public couldn’t get any pictures up close.  I’ll continue to watch what is being said on AirshowBuzz about the show, and their website

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
