Updated air race sites

The Reno Air Races are next month, and as a result we are starting to see some updated websites.  So, lets give you a few that have updated recently.

We’ll start with the site for the Reno Air Race Association (RARA).  Lots of good info about what to expect when you get to the races, ticket prices, and the database for all the old race results.

Rare Bear has a very cool intro up on their site and then you can get into some updates about what is going on with the plane – that is, updates the team is willing to share. Don’t forget, the Bear has new owners, and they want TO WIN!

In the Sports Class, NemesisNXT is next.  I think the biggest news here is that Jon Sharp is ready to fly after his kidney transplant.  The site shares that even the kidney transplant was a team effort – his wife donated the kidney!

Another NXT featured on the website of Team Relentless. One of the top 10 sexiest planes.

Back to the Unlimiteds.  September Pops is promising an updated website soon, and they’re boasting some improvements for this year also, but they don’t share specifics.  Needless to say, most teams don’t share specifics this time of year anyway.

Visit their sites – and the others in the Aviation Links tab, and show your support!

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on: www.robreider.com
