Reno Air Races: Saturday

Some good blog posts can be found in the link blog.  Some have links to photo albums online with some good photos.

AAFO is looking for pictures of Gary Hubler for a memorial to the fallen pilot.  I expect they’ll be looking for pictures of Brad and Steve also.

Results should be posted on the RARA site now.  If not, I found some posts on the AAFO forums with results also.

Lots of pictures and commentary out on AAFO also.  Also, this post has pictures from the Thunder Over Reno movie premier.  Three of the planes were parked out in front of the Grand Sierra under the lights, and they look great!  Another post shared that the premier went well and the movie was well received.  I’m looking forward to seeing it myself.

Today was a great day.  Everyone is back on the ground safe!

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." Mark Twain

Quote 2

From Marine Corps Chaplain Father Dennis O'Brien: "It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester the right to burn the flag." found on:
